Is Form PT1 an ownership document?
The Excise and Taxation Department keeps records of property in a PT1 Register. A copy of the record of a single property from such a register is commonly called Form PT1.This PT1 form contains information on property and its ownership, but it is not a proof of ownership of a property. Form PT1 is only a record kept for taxation of the property, and its purpose is not to show ownership.

ReplyDeleteSir hamari aik property hy jo hamary father inlaw ny PT-1 py hamaray nam ki thi uska previous koi record nai hy sir kiya abhi woh registry ho sakti hy father inlaw ki death ho gai hy or is property ka ishtam paper bhi likhwaya tha

DeleteTanveer Bhai,,, This is Ali and same case i have. property belongs to my late Grand father and we wants to get its registry now. In Punjab it is very tough to deal with Excise peoples, as everyone is playing and even not giving guidlines.
